Advertisement Date:

September 11, 2018

The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals for the development and operation of a convenience and vending concession located at the future O’Hare International Airport Multimodal Facility (MMF). The CDA desires to attract Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) participation in the single concession opportunity.

Proposers must be prepared to develop and operate a convenience and vending concession in the MMF, scheduled to open in late 2018. Located at the southeast corner of Zemke and Mannheim Road, the MMF consolidates the airport’s rental car operations and public parking into one facility, while serving as a new gateway to O’Hare. All on-airport rental car patrons will enter the facility, and passengers arriving on local and regional buses, hotel transports, and other commercial shuttles will access the airport by way of the MMF. The Airport Transit System (ATS), the 24 hour rail system, will also directly connect the MMF to all airport terminals.
